General AFTERCARE

Firstly, congratulations on your purchase of decorated products from Tee Shirt Republic! We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy producing them. All of our products are fully compliant with the highest standard of quality control; however, there are a few things you can do to keep your stock in the best condition possible.
 

We recommend the following aftercare instructions, if in doubt, check the tag on your garment!

• Wash at 30 degrees Celsius or below.

• Wash inside-out.

• Do not tumble dry.

• Dry flat with printed side away from source of heat and direct sunlight

• Iron on reverse, if necessary.

• Never leave or store clothing scrunched up whilst wet.

• Do not rub stains as this may force the stain into the fibres.

THINGS TO WATCH OUT FOR:
 

FABRIC BRUISING & Pre-treat marks

This may look like a square “burn" or "mark" on your garment – rest assured this is not the case. All garments are pre-treated with a liquid that allows the print to adhere to the fabric. The bruising is a pressure mark caused by curing in the Digital Printing process; both will wash out after the first wash. This is an unavoidable occurrence, but by no means permanent.

 

CURING

There is a fine line between curing and burning on fabrics, we use our extensive knowledge to get your prints to last as long as possible, however different external temperatures can sometimes impact the effectiveness of our techniques.

If you notice that your print is “washing out” in areas, it is essential that you do NOT wash the rest of your stock. This means that your product was not cured evenly and needs to be run through our oven again. If you notice that your stock has curing issues, please contact us immediately and we will organise the collection of your stock. Once we have corrected the curing, we will organise for your stock to be returned to you and any rejects replaced.

 

STAINS

Much like Curing, it is important that if you do notice stains that you do not wash them as this will set the stain in. Please contact us and we will treat them at our factory. Should the stains not come out; we will replace the stock or issue you with a credit for your order. 

 

Print Consistency

While we do endeavour to mitigate misprints, mistakes do happen. The Tee Shirt Republic reserves the right to replace or credit your order in the event of any rejects. Replacements are organised with priority on a 1 day - 2-week turnaround. This is dependant on stock availability.

If you do have any issues, please feel free to contact us. Tee Shirt Republic allows up to 7 days from receival of goods for the customer to notify of any issues. After this period, it is at the absolute discretion of Tee Shirt Republic  to exchange or assert acceptance of Goods.
